Kelly has experience across the fields of public mental health, paediatric research and group training. She provides assessment and therapy to children, adolescents and young adults facing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, peer issues, aggression/anger issues, adjustment issues (e.g., parental separation) and recovery from trauma.
Kelly has a special interest in Infant Mental Health (0-3 yrs) and can support adjustment to parenting and early attachment and bonding, while providing parents with education regarding infant mental health and development. She is also able to assist parents with their own mental health and wellbeing in the context of early parenting (e.g., parental stress, anxiety and depression).
Using evidenced-based principles of cognitive behaviour therapy and dyadic developmental psychotherapy, Kelly works in collaboration with families, schools and allied professionals to improve children’s emotional wellbeing and family functioning.
