Katherine Cail

(Monash MEDP)

Katherine holds general psychology registration having completed a Masters of Educational and Developmental Psychology in early 2024. She has over 8 year’s experience working as a therapist and provisional psychologist providing intervention in the home, kinder, school, and clinic settings.

In her role with Bloom Psychology Group, Katherine provides individual therapy across a range of areas including anxiety, grief, trauma, identity, autism, ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorder, and tics, and conducts cognitive and educational, social-emotional and behavioural assessments. She enjoys working with kids of all ages, guiding social emotional development and helping them build a strong sense of self and identity.

Sessions often involve a mix of creative methods, talk therapy, and play – especially with the littlest ones, and prioritise building a strong therapeutic rapport with clients and their families. Katherine recognises the frequent challenges families face, and her psychology goals are to provide helpful, effective, and personalised supports in a collaborative and neuroaffirming manner.

In her other role Katherine works as a school psychologist, but her greatest life passion is being a mum to her three young children, with music concerts and outdoor walks for fun.
